Joburg Zoo, various programs, Saxonwold, Jun 25-29, Jul 2-13, under 7 yrs from 9am-12pm, 7-13yrs 9am-4pm, Cost R70pp. Let the zoo fill your holidays with great outdoor activity. Rangers Day, Lory Park Zoo, until Jul 12. 7am-4pm, 8-16yrs. Cost : R150pp incl lunch. The day will be filled with a fun, exciting programme of education, information, conservation messages & tons of activities & hands on experience with the animals. From feeding them, cleaning there enclosures to touching and playing them. There are activities & talks during the day to keep the little one enthralled

Pretoria Zoo, various activities, Jun 25-Jul 13, 8am-4pm. Cost varies depending on the program, average R70 per day. A range of programs which will help learners to be acquainted with the animals and various activities in the Zoo. Meet the birds, mammals, monkey tricks, Scavenger hunt and the world of reptiles

SCIENCE/TECH
Super Science at Sci-Bono, Newtown, Jun 23-Jul 6, 7-12yrs, 7am-3.30pm. Discover the Fun in Science & Technology with a daily programme ofhands-on workshops and science shows: build working models of cars, boats and turbines propelled by wind or water energy; explore over 350 interactive exhibits. Science shows are included in the entry fee – R10 kids, R20 adults, additional R5 or R10 for specific workshops.

TechnoLab Holiday club, Auckland Park, Jun 25-29, 9a,-1.30pm. Gr3-6: Fun activities for kids-lego construction and fisher techniques, all about structures, motions, mechanical gears, lifting systems. Gr 7- 12:  Lego mindstorms, robotics challenges daily. R60pp

Engineering Graphics &, Design Course, Technolab, Auckland Park, Jun 25-29. The TechnoLab at UJ will host a series of extra classes for grades 10 – 12 EGD learners to assist them with the drawings.

DRAMA
Star Quality , Acting academy, Orange Grove, Jun 25-29, 5-16yrs, 9am-11am.  Acting workshop which culminates in a show for your family and let them see all the skills you have learned,

MUSIC
Songwriting ,recording  & band course, Melville, until Jul 11, 3 day courses
1. Songwriting: write your own song with experienced songwriter/musician. No musical experience necessary! Take a recording of your song home
2. Recording : make a professional sounding demo of your own tune or fave tune with experienced recording musician.
3. School of Rock: putting a band together with friends and or new kids! Experienced live performer will lead!

MIXED PROGRAMS
