It is every mom’s perfect afternoon. Ten minutes to sit in the sun, drink a cappuccino or an iced latte, while the kids play. Throw in a good meal, friendly service and a stunning ocean view and you are home free!
Circus Circus Beach Café ticks all these boxes. The varied menu is a delight, catering for all tastes and the food never disappoints. Our favourite part though, is how child-friendly this restaurant is. There is a sand pit and jungle gym in the back where the kids can go wild. Families can sit outside and watch the kids play while enjoying their meal and some precious quiet time.
We’re regular visitors to Circus Circus Beach Café and, even though my daughter is too small to play on the jungle gym right now, she still has a ball! The sandpit is a great attraction, with its toys and possibility of new friends! As she is still very small I don’t feel that I could really leave her to play on her own, so I usually hover around the edges of the sand pit. This is, however, just me being a paranoid mom and is not necessary for bigger kids.
The welcoming staff is always friendly and ready with a kind word for babies. The service can be a little on the slow side as they are often very busy. Friendly staff is way more important than efficient staff, especially when we just want to relax and enjoy our mealtime.
Circus Circus Beach Café is highly recommended by me as a family-oriented restaurant. It makes a nice change to Spur and is perfect for a quick lunch after a day at the beach.
You’ll find Circus Circus Beach Café at Shop 1, Snell parade, Bay of Plenty, Durban.
